With the changing weather and my upcoming paycheck (thank the lord), all that’s been on my mind these days is shopping.
In high school and college, I had a horrible habit of wearing my flip flops well into December…literally. Even today, old habits die hard. I can’t seem to get myself out of my Jack Rogers sandals and sundresses. Unfortunately, I think it’s about time for a grown-up reality check. October has arrived.
That being said, in my time being a poor post grad I have done a decent amount of online “window shopping.” Essentially, my dream wardrobe is all planned out in my head, but I don’t have the exactly means to make it a reality.
However. After much thought and careful consideration, I’ve somehow managed to narrow it down to six key items that I’m seriously drooling over right now:
Clockwise from the top
A super cute and cheap tote that supports one of my favorite getaways in the city…what’s not to love?
This is actually something I splurged on when J.Crew was having their 25% off sale last week. The navy blue version makes for the perfect fall jacket–sporty and chic.
This fall, I’ve been seeing booties pretty much everywhere. I usually prefer riding boots, but this pair in the chocolate brown is perfect for day or night.
I tend to have commitment issues when it comes to finding the right perfume. I spend weeks going in and out of the department store trying on the same scent about fifty times, only to get something completely different. But after trying this on in the Jo Malone store a few weeks ago, I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. It’s the perfect combo, sweet and girly!
Normally I like to stick to neutral colors when it comes to my nails, regardless of the season. Essie’s After School Boy Blazer color may have changed my views. The color looks great on, and is really in line with this falls focus on navy blue.
Okay, so yes. This watch is a splurge, and it is definitely going to be something I’m just going to stare at from outside the store window. But a girl can dream, and I can’t help but love the glittery wristband!
