The past three months have been a complete whirlwind. Between the holiday season, work, and spending time with friends and family, time just flew by. In all the craziness, I seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth once again. This time though, I’m being a bit more literal.
I recently returned from an incredible trip to Sydney, Australia. I went everywhere from the Sydney Opera house, to the Blue Mountains, Degraves Street in Melbourne and back. It was an absolutely amazing vacation, and an escape I desperately needed.
Being away made me realize how important it is to remove ourselves from the everyday once in awhile. Whether it be across the world to Australia or a short subway ride to a local park, it’s essential to have time to reflect on your life. For me, my time away helped me realize all the important things in my life that I had let slip as of late. My goals, my blog, and even the state of my bedroom (yes, some things never change).
After a week of recovering from the twenty-four hour flight (I repeat, twenty-four hours), I am finally back to pursuing those little dreams I have. If you haven’t yet, make it your new years resolution to take a moment every once in awhile. A little perspective never hurt anyone.
Below are some pictures from my trip, enjoy!
